According to marriage and family therapist, Ann Davidman, there are many of us struggling with the decision of whether or not to have a child. While this uncertainty is becoming more and more common, many report feeling isolated in their indecision and stigmatized for not inherently choosing motherhood. According to some noted psychologists, there are certain things you can do to help move forward with a decision; doing the right kind of research, being intentional, staying away from viewing it in terms of a cost benefit analysis, and seeing it less as black and white, right or wrong, but more as a “best of fit” choice.
